A gift to me

So it has been almost 6 weeks since I quit smoking... YAH!!! I decided to hold onto some of the money that I was spending on cigarettes and do something for me. So I got my hair done. I know getting your hair done does not seem like alot but when you have 2 kids it is hard to justify spending 60.00 on getting a perm. So here is the new do.......

I have the best hairstylist in the world. I am so happy to have found somebody who does my hair GREAT every single time!

The days are gettin warmer..... :)

It has been so nice outside lately. I think it is finally pulling me out of this horrible slump I have been in. I have never really liked the cold dreary weather but for some reason this year has been much worse. The sunshine and warm air makes me so happy. My boys have been so happy as well.... they have been living outside.

Playing outside is so much fun but can also lead to bumps and bruises. Jace was pulling his wagon.... not watching where he was going when he tripped on his skateboard, his mouth was bleeding EVERYWHERE.... he turned out to be fine but I was pretty concerened there for awhile.

Here is the scene of the accident....

5 Things you don't know about me...
1. I love burnt food (cheese, popcorn, bacon, fried potatos, onions, garlic) YUM!
2. I have a horrible fear of heights that started one day in Twin falls a few years ago... weird story and I don't know why it has stuck with me sooo much.

A workin man

Last night Riley came out of his room and told me he had to go to work. I am still trying to figure out what kindof work he does dressed like this.....

After awhile I needed to go to the store and Josh and Jace were outside loading a car so I had no choice but to take Riley with me. I told him to go in and change and we would go to the store. He was very adament he was not changing his clothes (he was very proud of his outfit). Any parent knows some battles are just not worth fighting.... this was one of them. I told him that he at least had to put on pants and a coat.... this is what we settled on and away we went to the store... where Rylan got lots of compliments on his hat (it was part of his halloween costume)

Lots of Stuff.....

Valentines Day turned out to be a pretty good day! The boys had a great day... Valentines is so cool when you are a kid. Jace had a party at school and then him and Rylan had a party at daycare and then came home and found even more gifts. I made dinner that night which took me 2 hours to make.... hope hubby doesn't get use to that. I made steak, shrimp, crab and salad with homemade ranch. It was soooo good!

I took the boys to see the new baby and they were so excited. They were a little concerened that the baby didn't do "anything" but sure did like him. Riley feels very "grown up" around baby Payton. Which makes me realize how very "grown up" he actually is compared to Payton.

An early Valentines

Unfortunately I forgot my camera but thought I would share anyway...

Josh took me on Sat evening to the Mona Lisa Fondue Restaurant in Nampa. I have been wanting to try it for so long and last week I asked Josh to come up with something on his own this year for Valentines Day. He decided on the Mona Lisa. OH MY GOSH....... if you have not eaten there you are missing out!!! It was sooooo GOOD!!! You have 4 courses and are incredibly full when you leave there. It took almost 2 hours which was fine... we had the evening to ourselves, and it was so romantic. Although this was NOT a cheap meal by any means it was so much fun and so good, Josh and I decided we would do this once a year for ourselves.
