1st Grade

I cannot believe it!! Jace is in 1st grade this year... I cannot believe how fast these years have flown by. He is really becoming a little man and I don't like it one bit! I miss our lazy mornings when he was little and we had nowhere to be.

He did great this morning and he is super excited about getting to eat lunch at school. He has Mrs. Smith this year and has a couple good buds that he sits right next to so he was thrilled about that. I only got a little teary eyed as I left him with his teacher. I know he is in good hands, this teacher has gotten rave reviews by everyone I know!

I sure love this guy....

(Don't mind the date on the pic... it is really wrong)

Brother had to take a pic with him.

Mutton bustin

I was so bummed about this video... I stood there at that gate and waited and waited and waited with my camera and finally the batteries started acting funny so I turned it off. They then announced Jaces names and pulled the chute open... so all I got was him falling off. He did good this year, rode for about 3-4 seconds. He LOVES to ride... anything and everything! He is already talking about riding saddle bronc. Josh has some friends who own steers and horses and have told him to bring Jace over and let him start riding, so we will see! Joshs connections to the rodeo may not be a good thing for me!

You might be a redneck if....

This is your entertainment on a Tuesday evening (after a couple Coronas)

Fair

I haven't posted in awhile... I have been recovering from my surgery and it has been a tough one. As soon as I start feeling better I try to do something and end up feeling worse, it is kinda 2 steps forward and 3 steps back.

In the meantine of all this Josh took the boys to the Canyon county fair and they rode in the Big wheel race and both won! So they were invited back on Sunday for the finals and if they won they got a brand new bike. Ry won his division but the little boy you see him racing is Trenton Fisher who is in his preschool class... kinda strange! Jace didn't win his but they had fun.

The 1st video is Jace riding the bull.... the kid LOVES to ride bulls... or anything else for that matter. Lately he has been bucking in the laundry basket and even saying "lets go boys, lets go" to which I have to "open"the chute.

He will be muttonbustin this Friday night so I will post pics of that!
