Here we go again

Last year Jace had the exact same thing happen only about 1/4 of the size. He woke up to this this morning. Of course I took him straight in and they are def. worried about him. Last time this happened he ended up in the hospital hooked to an IV. I am quite worried... they put him on 2 diffferent antibiotics and the dr. wants to see him again in the morning. The poor kid can't seem to get a break.

Trip to Bogus

Jace has been quite the little skier lately. This week he went twice. So yesterday we decided to go up and watch him for awhile. I haven't been to Bogus in about 3 years and we hadn't seen Jace ski yet. So Josh, Ry, Julie and I set off yesterday morning to head up there. When we got there it was COLD, COLD, COLD!! And poor Jace was freezing!! They were in the lodge getting ready to eat lunch when we got there. We really are so grateful for Jaces Uncle... he is soooo good with him and really takes the time to teach him and get him all ready.

After lunch they headed back to the slopes.... and I was able to get this video of Jace.

While we were waiting I heard some woman yelling Lindsey, Lindsey. I asked Julie is she talking to me... cuz I really hate to turn around and be like Ya?? and they are talking to the person next to you... but she was talking to me. It was my Uncles girlfriend...she was up there taking skiing lessons. And how she noticed me standing in the middle of the ski area looking like a drowned rat I will never know.

It was just too darn cold for the way I was dressed... yes I NEVER come prepared for cold weather no matter how cold the place is I am going. It is one of those things that irritates the hell out of my husband. I had a light jacket and that was about it...no gloves, no hat, no snow shoes... just a spring jacket. Hmmm.... wonder why he gets so irritated?!

We had alot of fun...and on our way home I stopped at Cabelas and bought a new winter coat... you know since we are going into spring and all.

He wasn't actually as close to me as it looked like in the camera. The boys sure do love that motorcycle!

My final quit

I have quit smoking so many times I can't even count them all. I have quit for all sorts of reasons... pregnancy, the kids, my health, Josh, pretty much any reason you can think of. I always find myself doing really well for a few months and then I end up smoking again. Not this time... I refuse to do it! I quit AGAIN 6 days ago... because Ry told me he didn't want me to die (he cried while telling me this)... broke my heart. I don't want to die... so I know how he feels.

This is my final quit! I will be 30 in a few months and I WILL be smoke free from 30 through the rest of my life. My next 30 years will be a lot less destructive to my own body.

Yep... we found it!

I think we finally found it!

We have been looking and looking and looking for a motorcycle for Jace. Seems like everytime we find one that is a good bike with a good price tag it is gone before we even can call on it. Not this time... we found one we love and Josh just called on it and YAY!! the guy still has it. Josh and Jace ran out the door and were headed to take him cash and pick it up.... we are praying it is still there when they get there!

It is a Honda 50 but is decorated like a Kawasaki cuz the original owner of it was a guy that worked for Grizzly Sports.

We are super excited and would love to have Jace racing by next season. I think he would be really good at it!

a request from dad

So I haven't posted much for a reason... nothing has been going on! But I had lunch with my dad today and he said when are you gonna post something new on your blog... so....

Jace goes back to the Dr. today for his final check up on his tonsils. He is doing really good and is completely back to his old self... so I think today will go really well.

I painted my room this week... one red wall and 3 brown ones.... actually looks really good.

I went down to the ball field yesterday and cleaned up the concession stand to get it ready for the season. HS softball starts next week so it is approaching us quickly.

This weekend I have a massage... my favorite thing to do.

And that is about all the excitement going on here.
