So I had quit smoking in January and then had alot of really bad and stressful thing go on in my life the 1st week of April.... needless to say I started smoking again (I will learn to deal with stress another way). So I quit AGAIN yesterday and am doing quite well actually. I refuse to get upset about the fact that I have to keep quitting.... at least I am trying. I really don't want to smoke... as much as I enjoy it when I am doing it... I know the health risks and would love to be able to see my kids grow up and enjoy retirement with my husband. I also hate being so dependent on something... not doing certain things because I can't smoke and so on.
So anyway - I am once again smoke free and already feeling better. I plan to take one day at a time and we shall see how it goes.

Quitting once again...
4th of July.... 2008
What a long weekend!!!! Our weekend started On Thursday the 3rd when we went over to Marsing and watched their fireworks over the Snake River... that was so fun! That was the first time Rylan had really seen the big fireworks and been old enough to know what was going on. He was a little scared they were going to get him... but mostly it was fun to see his reactions to them.
On Friday we went to the Parade in Wilder at noon and then the demolition derby that evening.... this is the boys absolute favorite thing to do. Josh is very involved in making the derby happen so the boys think it is extra cool to watch. After watching the derby Jace can recite every car and every hit for months... the kid is amazing with the information he gathers. After the derby they had a cool firework show.... the kids then went to grandmas and Josh and I got to go out for awhile.
On Saturday we had a big BBQ at Joshs parents house with a Horseshoe tournament and some fireworks of our own. By this time though I think me and the boys were pretty well worn out... Rylan didn't even get to see the fireworks and he was out!
All in all it was a great weekend... just not much downtime.

Camping 2008
We left on Friday the 20th at 7:30 am for a 9 day camping trip... YES 9 days! The boys were soooo excited to leave! We finally found a really nice camp ground and started setting up camp.
On Saturday there was a huge windstorm that came through and completely uprooted a 120' tree and knocked it down right in our camp... just barely missed the tents. Then about 20 minutes later we heard another one fall... then another one. By this time Julie and I were gathering up what we could as fast as we could and getting the boys to safety. Josh and I decided it was not smart to stay and went to a motel for the night. That was one of the scariest things I have ever had to live through.... as we were driving out you could see trees falling!
After that we went back to camp and had a great week.... no one got seriously sunburned, bit or injured! Although Jace did lose his 1st tooth up there and the tooth fairy brought his $17.80... can you believe it!
There was lots of fishing, riding and just relaxing.... and eating! We had a great time but I am glad to be home and back in a normal routine.

T-ball, my -day and a lost tooth
My Birthday was yesterday and it really did not feel like it at all! I had to go to a funeral... seems weird attending a funeral on your b-day and that pretty much emotionally drained me for the day.

My Birthday
So tomorrow is my 29th b-day.... this one is really bothering me because the next one will be 30 and I so do not want to turn 30. But like it or not it will come (at least i hope so). So for my birthday this year Josh asked me what I wanted.... I told him the only thing I wanted was for him to take me somewhere for dinner but for him to plan it. He totally came through, he had planned for the boys to go to the circus with their aunt Friday night and he took me to dinner and a movie.... I was so thrilled, that was so unlike Josh!
We had a really great time.... we actually spent all day Friday just him and I.... it was a great day!

Incredible athletes
On Sunday I volunteered to help with an aid station for the 1st annual Ironman Competition. Since we are coaching t-ball this year they asked if I would volunteer and if we could get 40 people there the Homedale Youth Sports program would get $1000.00 for there program. I reluctantly agreed to go and moped about it all weekend. I ended up having so much fun! These athletes are absolutely amazing..... so inspiring! I was on the part of the race where they ran so it was the last leg of the 70.3 mile race which started with swimming, then biking, then the run. By the time the athletes reached us they were dilusional... there bodys were pushed to the max. The winner finished it in 3 hours 53 minutes... a 70.3 mile race in less then 4 hours... amazing!!!
I didn't get any pics (forgot my camera) but i hope i get to do it again next year!!!
A not so winning weekend...
